I'm surprised anyone even found my thread on that. Yes I'm running old parts OC'd out the butt daily-driver. I have full intentions of setting up a 3770K and try to clock it to 5.5 Ghz minimum for daily-driver, bare chip delidded direct to waterblock with big loop while I wait around for Ryzen 4000 series threadripper to release in a few years. I have a set of ram I'm looking to pair with it to stretch it's legs later too. Corsair Vengeance 32GB (4x8GB) DDR2-2800 (XMP), and I'm hopeful to try to get it to 3000 - 3200 Mhz. I currently have it mated to an EK water cooled ram block that originally was mated to an old set of Corsair Dominator GT. I have the Vengeance set chemically bonded to the heatsinks for the water kit via resin so it's not just thermal pads.

I ran across that a few years ago, I have the same card and I bought the nickel plexi fe block and nickel backplate for it.. they're still sitting in their boxes because the card runs so well as it was assembled with just a slight undervolt and a custom fan curve.
It sits at 1936-1950mhz core 993mv and +500 mem and almost never hits 70C or gets loud enough to be heard over 1500rpm 120mm vardars.

Keep in mind you need EK's geforce fe block not the 1080ti block because you need the cutout for the dvi ports that aren't installed on the reference model.
And it's the FE block Pheonix module that's on sale too!!

i love my QDCs now that I've got it sorted. I placed an order for the largest series, & only focused on the correct mating... Turns out they're fudging huge, they barely fit in an STH10, for reference.
I'll have to completely redesign next time around to make it look proper.
