hellm As i said, if you check the "extend off. oc limits" button, AB will write a SPPT to the registry. Most likely with 1960MHz max.

treetops422 Hmmm AB works with MPT until I set the core boost to 2035. Then it goes wacky again. It seems like setting 1960 in MPT stabilizes it until 2030 boost at least so far for me. I'm newish to this, maybe there is something I don't understand. 5700 non XT. I'll try it with more power, idk if the sensors go wacky or if it's actually hitting these cores.

GPU-Z Core 2146
AB Core 2200+

I went ahead and deleted the SPPT, loaded the default one from my saved bios. Uninstalled AB(User settings as well). Rebooted. Everything was back to stock in GPU-Z\MPT. 1750 Boost.

1. Set the Over Drive Limit 2050 GFX Maximum Clock (Mhz)

2. Set the Frequency 2000 Maximum (Mhz)

3. Clicked Write SPPT. Rebooted.

But GPU-Z still says it's set to 1960 Boost.

I can reinstall AB, it's been working just fine since playing with MPT last night, for whatever reason Wattman stopped booting with my PC. And I'm glad it did. So everything is good on my end. But I wanted to make sure to give you some feedback. Thanks again for all your hard work .

Gunderman456 In the past, not sure now, but if Wattman was enabled it would conflict with AB.

Dmac73 Always Afterburner for me. Just have to wait after new GPU releases a couple weeks. As mentioned 4.6.2 beta works well.

Flawless for 5700XT and 19.8.2 has been perfect although im strictly gaming and benching.

Looks like the GFX Maximum is capped to 1960 in MPT on the 5700 non xt after being set in the frequency tab. At least that's what GPU-z is reporting.

despite that my timespy and firestrike scores have improved

Awesome, I tried out the new MPT, with AB for the power and fan speed. The voltage, wattage, core and memory are running like their supposed too. I check marked extend official overclock limits. So it's working great, as long as you only change those 2 settings on AB it doesn't seem to have any problems. I know I can also change the max power limit in MPT Power Limit GPU.
