The RAM usage indicates "older" which is much less taxing than "new" and your CPU should do much better. My i7 [email protected] is doing ~2:25 in that bench.

That was using OptiX with 2x Titan RTX.

hmm.. CPU has less artifacts, still... for projects that don't require perfect precision that's a nice render time

But anyway, what CPU do you have?

No, you need the AMD card with an SSD on it as a VRAM/cache.

Plus serious projects render on a server farm anyway.

In the end it's more about which middleware/renderer is more optimized for what hardware, how much that hardware costs and the whole solution scales.
