bucdan Just got myself a XFX RX 5700 DD Ultra card for a good price. I'm getting weird signal cut outs and sometimes a white horizontal line across the screen rarely. Will look to replace the cable first to eliminate any easy issues. "Upgraded" from a GTX 1080. Here's to hoping their end of the year driver fixes a lot.

I can't recreate your other issues, but I also have Witcher 3 from GOG. I just tried it with the newest drivers, and launching it through Radeon Settings works for me. It may be a problem with VII's, but it could be a problem with your install.

Nothing running on the background, chill was active when it should not be, and only Overlay could disable it properly.

I have good news and bad news.

1. I managed to cause system crash and artifacts using wattman.
Therefore it seems to work.

2. I definitely havent seen frequency to be reported above 1800MHz.
But i just got my watercooler, and my card does not seem to be particularly good piece for OC.

Also, 19.12.1 definitely breaks my Witcher 3 profile:

b) Shader Cache is not working.
After game is restarted, it still stutters - recreating data for cache. In 19.5.2 "AMD Optimized" worked flawlessly.

Another bug is that Clean Installation uninstalled PSP drivers for no reason...
