It's better than two 27" monitors though, I have a 34" 21:9 right now and it's good but I still could use more screen real-estate. As it is, I do turn my head slightly but it doesn't give me any issues fortunately.

What's the point?
I'd venture to say and probably the majority of this site will agree (that has used higher refresh rate monitors) that there is a discernable difference between 60hz and 120hz monitors, and a very pronounced one at that. As noted above, latency is big factor but also lower refresh rate increases eye strain. I switched laptops from 60hz to 120hz because of eyestrain and had moved up from 60hz to 120hz desktop monitors when they were first released.

Steady frame rates or not, the faster the framerate the better smoother the picture.

I guess it's why some comedians don't make fun of politicians, and other honest, down-to-earth types. Sometimes, real behavior is the joke.

Alright, I'll help you guys out. 30FPS is garbage.

This would just be a waste of money for a pure gimmick.

When I imagine the type of person who would purchase a monitor like this, the saying "a fool and his money will soon part ways" comes to mind.
To that point, a fool is born every minute... And there are always companies willing to swindle them and take their money.

Alas though, it is nice to see monitor tech advance in one way or another.... but what I REALLY think the future of monitors is LOOKING GLASS tech. Check it out!!!
