mtbiker033 the 14k-16k numbers sound about right. you can go to the futuremark site and select hardware then see results of systems with the hardware you select.

!Woody! No (Sheepish Look) i didn't uninstall the old drivers as i was planning on doing a fresh install in about 2 weeks when my new case is here. how much of an increase can i expect as in all the reviews (ok heavily OC'ed) i've read they seem to be getting between 14000 and 16000 3dmark06?? (yes the SLI enables where would i show that there are 2 cards can't find that)

mtbiker033 do both cards show up in the nvidia control panel and SLI enables? Before you powered down to install the 2nd card did you remove drivers/drivercleaner?

!Woody! Hey Guys
I need the infinte wisdom of the forums!
I've just install a second 8800 gts 640mb using the following procedure:
  1. Install card
  2. Install SLI bridge
  3. Plug in power cables to both (using splitter is this ok)
  4. Turn on PC
  5. Install GPU drivers again (174.74)
  6. Reboot
  7. Enable SLI in NV control Panel
  8. Reboot
Is this correct or have i messed up some where???
3dmark numbers haven't changed much AARGH
