PaulB Anyone here have any experiance with projectors. Im gonna buy one but im not 100% clear on what i need. I will be using it for movies and games mostly and surfing a bit aswell... I think im gonna go with a used CRT... the kind with 3 lamps red blue green. I dont know anyting aobut the DPL stuff and was wondering they would be an alturnative. I know i need really high contrast ratio to make it look like a tv or movie theator. Also i need it to be bright but it will be in a room with no windows so i was wondering what kind of Lumen count would be minimal. I have seen some 20,000 x 1 contrast with 700 lumens in my price range. Thats the kind of contrast im looking for but will it be bright enough since i got no windows?
