A friend of mine recently aquired a 21" moniter from ebay for about £50. He seems perfecly happy about it and it seems like a bargain.

I have the desk space so I must admit I'm tempted but it sounds too good to be true.

Any ideas? I had a quick look and, for example, this item came up http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...104815561&rd=1

Wow, can't argue with that price. I wonder how old it is. Says good working order...

Thats the kind of monitor I'd cut the plastic off of the back, put in some LED's and put plexi on it...and paint the rest of it!

Dell makes decent monitors I think!

Again, the price is just too damn good to pass up.

The only weak thing I see on that monitor is the dot pitch which is 0.28 mm. My 19" monitor has a .25mm DP. .24 is really good... and I don't really like anything larger than .26mm. But the only time you MIGHT notice it, is when you're at the max resolution. You will probably never notice it unless you look very closely at your screen.

Listen carefully, you can learn ALOT from this guy!

Good call on the DP Death, I didnt even think of it. Guess I'm still a bit of a noob.
