Club for any type of part? Cool man wish you the best!

I own a bitspower piece biggrin.gif

47 Knucklehead 03-27-2013 06:38 PM

I pretty much use exclusively Bitspower fittings ... barbs, compression fittings, links, etc.

I personally love the shiny silver, but also have done a couple builds with black sparkle.

Its about time we had a bitspower gallery! Amazing collections some of you guys have. I love bitspower angle fittings, temp sensor, reservoir so clean and pretty.

Next upgrade will be their d5 pump mod kit and fillport/drain fittings.

RingingEars 04-04-2013 02:16 PM

I'll post a pic next week when my 2 GPU blocks(AquagraFX for 670) come in and I finish up my build, but I did have a slew of Bitspower fittings come in yesterday.
Compressions. 45s, 90s, LED plugs, SLI fittings, D-plug, QDC, flow meter, black mod top, and pump mod kit for my 655... All in silver shiney.
Oh it's gonna look good....biggrin.gif

Completed Bitspower Build ....well plumbing anyway.

Can anyone tell me ..... (vendor and Bitspower didn't answer)

1. There are multiple inserts for the Bitspower flow meters in the pic there..... they come with various inserts for different tube sizes but no indication as to when to use either or none at all.

2. How you convert rpm to gpm with each alternative.....just math but need the fudge factor.

Exactly, you push the top and the air comes out.

Where would you install this kinda fitting and why would you need one?

You can put it on the exhuast port of the radiator, or on the top of the res like this:
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=40097
instead of a regular stop fitting.

What benefits does this fitting offer? Why would I need one or want one

Would I be achieving the same thing if my res had 3 ports at the top, 1 inlet and 2 stop plugs, and I simply unplugged one of the stop fittings

JackNaylorPE 02-24-2014 12:48 PM

I think the idea is you can vent while pumps running .... wouldn't try removing the plug and doing that .... I used a mini valve and plug .... loosen the plug, crack the valve / close valve secure plug

Why? What would happen if I tried to undo one of my stop plugs on the top of my res while the pump is running?

SeanEboy 02-24-2014 02:57 PM

Anyone know where I can find some 3/8x5/8 compression fittings? They're out of stock at the usual haunts... (Frozen, and Perf-PCs)... HALP! I want to build!

If that's all you did, nothing......as one ounce out = one ounce in. That's the way I added dye to my loop for example. But that was via a small 15mm bottle which I was able to fit between rad and res top. To add anything more than that need more room. But if you open something else up to add 150 ml of coolant for example .... well let me describe it this way .....

That's like a 16" acrylic tube which is attached to the top port on my top rad.....if I open that valve while the pump is running, coolant will come out of the valve. To evacuate air in a working loop, you have to a) get the air out and b) replace it with more coolant.....that requires a place to let air out on top of the res and a place to put coolant in. To get the coolant in, easiest way I have found is to fill that tube on the top rad and shut the valve ... crack the valve as well as the one on top of the res and the tube drains into the res while letting the coolant displace the air and force it out. Close either one and the process stops. As coolant from the pump will follow the path of least resistance with two openings..... it's gonna wanna go up the rad tube rather than force itself thru the top rad, CPU block, MoBo block and then thru the tubing and fittings to the res.

I just happened upon this thread. I think this is awesome as I am a huge lover of Bitspower products. Here's my rig with Bitspower fittings, all Crystal Link acrylic tubing, 250 Z-Multi reservoir, pump top and D5 mod kit:

Hello guys, I need some help, I'm from Brazil and I'm building my new WC with bitspower fittings. I'm looking for one of this guy http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_346_393_620&products_id=35245
but the Deluxe White version, but I didn't found it neither on the bitspower's site. It seems that it doesn't exist.
Do you know if it exists?

Thank's.

And you have to have the non-rotary version?

If not:

http://www.frozencpu.com/products/16241/ex-tub-1306/Bitspower_G14_Thread_90-Degree_Rotary_Adapter_-_White_BP-DW90R.html?tl=c101s1306b145

I ask because a lot of people make the easy mistake of getting a non-rotary 90 like the one in your link not realizing you'll have to attach a rotary adapter to it to position it the way you want, they have very limited use.

This, get rotary's unless the application calls for strictly non-rotary, in my build this was only the case when I did not have enough clearance due to the rotary part. It is just easier to implement in the build.

Need to upload recent pictures.. but there is my rig abut a year or so ago.

EDIT
Just took some quick pics for this thread... its not all the BP i have, but its most of it. PS temp probe, BEST THING EVER.

Hello James, in fact I really need the non-rotary becase the space where I'll be using it, with the rotary one it wont fit.

Only issue with that is that the positioning will be limited to where it stops turning, I've been there too smile.gif

jeanspaulo 04-23-2014 08:31 PM

Thank you very much James. About the positioning issue to me will not be the problem cause I'm gonna use it on a Fill Port so I can rotate the fill port to have the positioning.

Markes12344 04-24-2014 07:17 AM

from using at non rotating 90Degree fitting myself, as sketchy as it may be. there is about a half a turn of positioning while the rubber ring can still safely seal the fitting.

Just thought id through that in there.

L-type has two threaded ports(basically an elbow fitting), T-type has three(two on either end and one on top, make a T-shape when tubing is attached), and Q-type has five(one on all four sides and one on top)

With this weird setup I'll be able to change the loop with 4 valves on the 2 systems.
- One big loop with 4 pumps.
- Two different loops with each 2 pumps.

What the hell were they thinking?!!!
Anything over 18mm will not fit. I switched from an EK X-res because of their stupid G1/4 extenders only to almost have a heart attack when I opened the BP pump top and noticed how close the ports are.
