Hi,

Since my first own computer i always wanted some decent speakers to get "the best experience" watching my movies, playing games ect. . . . .
However, the only set of speaker that are still somewhat working are my old fps 100 from creative. All upgrades from there died due to a shortcut in the subwoofer (creative speakers, forgot the model), or dying satellites on my current logitech z906.

I've kind of had it with these "computer" speakers, and would like to upgrade it to a decent satellite/woofer + amp combination. However, i'm not too familiar with audio systems.
Could anyone give me some advice or link some information?
My price range is between 300-1500 euros.

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Nexus

I'm going to suggest you look into a used, vintage amplifier.
I'm using a Yamaha MX 800 and am very pleased.

Some websites.
Legendary Amplifiers
The Vintage Knob
HiFi Engine

Not sure what you can do in terms of things you can buy. I don't live in Europe.

But these

Would be awesome intro budget speakers.

I would get two and use them standing up.

this is a good video showing what i'm talking about

was thinking of upgrading my computer sounds as well.

i was thinking the golden ear supersat 3

never heard them in person but doubt they are bad.

SUBWOOFER:

their forcefield 3 actually looks decent too.
other options:
SVS
HSU

for an amplifier, you wouldnt need much because the listening distance is so close 50w would do it with the 92db sensitivity speakers above.

https://emotiva.com/products/amplifiers/mini-x-100

if you chose less efficient speakers, say 89db. you would need to double the power

im not familiar with budget receivers if you want that instead of a amplifier, so i couldnt help with that.
