I did the registry hack to set power limit at 50% but it doesn't seem to do anything. The highest benchmark score I got was with +70mv 1100/1500.

I was able to bench at 1142 +150mv, but my score was considerably lower. At 1200 I had artifacts with +150mv and didn't push any further.

Temperatures peeking at 85C with fan on 100%. Ambient of 26C. 19% gain from my stock to best OC in 3dmark vantage. 5.7% gain in catzilla 1.4.

I'm facing the very same problem, the temps are beyond anything I would feel comfortable with. I have even re-applied the thermal compound. This is all done in an air-conditioned room while maintaining an ambient temp of 20c. The highest benchmark I could attain is at 1170Mhz with 100mv- http://www.3dmark.com/3dm11/10027965

What I've noticed is that the board power is limited and anything over this leads to throttling even while increasing voltages. If I were to increase voltages further to +150mv with 1200Mhz, even if it can run at that frequency, it will throttle due to board power and ultimately give me a lower score. Temps were hitting the high 80's with me as well.

Bummer.

I use win7 without sp1 so i cant run firestrike. What is your score at stock settings?

I wonder if a 380 bios would allow us to OC more...

I will run it at stock and post back. +50% on the power limit isn't enough. We need like +100% to run 1.35v which trixx allows.

Thats a 24% gain on gpu score. Not bad.

Remember when you changed 14 to 32 in regedit? Changing it to 64 would be power limit 100%.

I just did that. Even with +200mv I get artifacts and crash at 1140 and higher.

Really? Wow thank you. I'm going to do that now. Cause above 1160Mhz I get throttling. I'm stable at 1160Mhz with +100mv in MSI Afterburner.

I might get a chance to test my Club3D card tonight. I'll let you all know my results.

I could be rolleyes.gif

I will be sharing my BIOS. I will have approximately 4 hours to do what ever you want me to with this card.

I will be putting it under water right off the bat (With an Alphacool Nexxos GPX solo) and fan for the VRM.

I could even stream it if you guys want xD Forgot that I down graded my internet, it's no longer fast enough.

jason387 07-09-2015 06:32 AM

Hahaha. We both could be. This card is very capable and often underestimated. Its mainly limited by its board power and lack of software support when it comes to bios editing holds it back quite a bit.
