ASUS 970 Pro Gaming AURA Owner's Club

Some of the reasons the 970 Pro Gaming/Aura is great.
  • Low price
  • 7+1 VRMs that are well cooled
  • SLI/CF PCIe x8/x8 if you want, or PCIe x16 for one VGA card
  • Last and least - Cool RGB colors!!

(Note, anyone with tips on how to organize clubs will be welcome. In the meantime, a CPU-Z with the requisite motherboard in it from you is proof enough.)

Count me in, I have it in use at home with an mGPU setup of 2 x Sapphire Fury's. (Non-X)

I purchased this board in Nov. to replace a M5A99x and have enjoyed overclocking and gaming on it very much. Buildzoid on Actually Hardware Overclocking has several live overclocking videos on YouTube with this board. While he dogs on the board a little with his AMD FX-9570(not officially supported) I learned a lot about the settings and what I should expect when overclocking on this board. Warning: Spoiler! Thanks for posting the advise on overclocking videos. You can add our club to your signature if you want. Once we have enough people, I'll start a database and we can become an official club too.

Actually Hardware Overclocking is really good at the technical information too, I wonder if, like me, he has an electronics engineering technician background. smile.gif

That looks awesome. I also have a 1070, my GPU only has a green LED though, it's a Zotac FE. My RAM is kind of plain, Crucial Value RAM DDR3-1600. I haven't tried to OC my RAM, it probably won't do too well at that and I don't want memory corruption.

I just threw mine into my main rig yesterday after freezing it under dry ice the night before. Glad to be rid of the G3258 I was using.
