The only real change this year is that the City Run will be one of the World Community Grid Sub-projects.  Registration hasn't opened yet, but I'll try to have the threads up in the next couple of days, so we can start thinking about which projects we want to vote for. :thumb:

Huh, a subproject for WCG eh? That'll be interesting, hope it has plenty of work and servers can handle the massive flood of work units that will come from those saving up via sandbag...

I'll have to get some separate Boinc Manager instances setup on my 2P in Linux. I have plenty setup in my Win7 desktop to use. That seems to be easier than VMs or dual booting to get a bunker going.

Thankfully WCG is one of the more stable projects (and they usually have plenty of work).

Besides SCC, MCM and Zika, I'm not sure the other apps would have enough work to feed the Pentathlon. SCC is targeted to be completed before then. Who knows about MCM if it will finish. Its been at 99/100% for awhile now. Pretty much leaves Zika as the only app in WCG available for use. it does give higher RAC than SCC or MCM though, especially those running Linux.

Hopefully I get a Ryzen system built and well stress tested before this :S

After finding my max clocks, and then dropping my OC by 150 MHz, I have been steadily dropping the voltage on my chip. The efficiency is nice once you get a bit of distance from the clock/voltage wall.
