Hello and welcome to my build log for project Cerberus II.

It is an update to my previous build, Cerberus, that you can see in my signature. A lot of the build remains the same, but I am updating the motherboard, RAM and CPU. I am also replacing the EK ZMT soft tubing with EK PETG and also my custom vertical GPU mount with the Coolermaster Vertical GPU mount. I will be detailing what is needed to use this bracket in this case.
I am keeping the case, SSD, HDD, PSU and other peripherals.

Here is my complete component list:
-2 X EK Coolstream PE 360mm radiators
-1 X EK Coolstream SE 360mm radiator
-EK Supremacy Evo CPU Block
-EK 1080ti FE waterblock
-EK D5 combo unit glass
-EK fittings
-EK PETG tubing
Case: Lian-Li PC-O11WGX ROG Edition
Motherboard: ASUS Z370 Maximus X Formula
CPU: 8700K Coffee Lake - (Delided) I will be O/Cing hopefully to 5 GHz
RAM: G.Skill TridentZ Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR4-3600
GPU: 1080ti
Monitor: Asus PG279Q ROG Swift 27.0"

As always, I will be looking for your input and advice. Please ask me any questions that you might have and thanks for joining me on the ride.

I am also looking at if I should change the the direction of the fans of the system.

Here is a pic of my current system. I will be cooling the VRMs as well.
Loop Order:
Pump Res>Lower Rad>Side Rad>VRM Block>Top Rad>CPU>GPU>Pump Res

Currently, I have air being taken in from the bottom of the case, it is exhausted through the top and the side radiator. I have noticed that my case operates at a slight negative pressure with more air being exhausted by the fans than being brought in.

Should I change my top fans to intake air? My temps are good and never go over 50 degrees on the CPU or GPU for gaming.

Thoughts?

Disassemblly and cleaning...
Ugh...

Test fit of the coolermaster vertical GPU mount.
By moving the mount down a slot, I still have plenty of clearance for the EK PE Rad without covering more of the motherboard.

Dyno is helping!

You can see my cut lines on the back.

I'm not sure if I'm a fan of this... It seems clunky to me. It puts the card closer to the motherboard than it was before and the horizontal piece sticks out quite a ways and just doesn't look quite right.

Hmm, I may have to see what it looks like when the motherboard is installed in the case.

I'm struggling a bit with tube routing. I'm going to try my first bends in the morning.

I bought extra tube...
