Should I buy this prebuilt with monitor for 1500 euro due to the market situation?

Hello,
How are you?
I am currently without a gaming pc.
Initially I was looking at doing another build, but the current prices of ram and gpu had me looking at prebuilts.
So I saw this config and it made me think if I should go for it.

The specs are:
i7 7700
16gb ddr4 2400
b250 board
240gb sata ssd
2tb sata hhd
gtx 1080 8gb
450w psu

From what I can probably tell, the PSU is not going to be good probably.
A b250 board should be ok for a 7700 at stock since it doesn't OC.
2400 ram is not great but then again a b250 board will not run higher speed ram
a gtx 1080 is good, but it is probably a low quality with a plastic blower cooler.

But still, I can get this prebuilt for 1500 euros with a 32 inch 1440 165hz g-sync monitor in a bundle.
That is nice since I also don't have a monitor currently.
The price really has me thinking!

I know it won't overclock, the ram is slow, gpu probably won't overclock either or it will sound like a vaccum cleaner.
But still, this can probably handle all games at 1440p and carry me trough the mining apocalypse.
What are your thoughts on this?

Should I pull the trigger?
Or continue to look at a build?

Thanks for your help.
Cheers!

you most likely will have to replace the PSU with a 650w if i'm not mistaken.

overall, that's a good deal. yes

I would suggest you spend a few extra bucks and step up to an i5 8600 or i7 8700

I did.
Without the monitor it goes for 1265 euros for the computer alone.

Cheers!

Hello,
Yes, I did a spreadsheet with the cheapest 450w psu I could find, cheapest Sata ssd and so on and I came to 1265 euros for the computer alone.

CHeers!

that does look attractive esp considering the g-sync screen - if you were looking for one.

on a side note: a 450 watt PSU is fine. that rig while gaming will barely hit north of 250 watts. though what "brand"? voltage regulation and ripple is a problem with low end units.

though running both prime95 AND furmark would be a bad idea. :p

Hi,
Yeah these prebuilds usually use lowend stuff
GPU might be the only item tough to find a good price on
TeamDark ram is supposed to be pretty good if you've never looked at it :)
