Major changes over original launch models:
ROG Strix B450-E VRM:
It's pretty obvious it is meant to compete with MSI's B450 Tomahawk/Pro Carbon.
Whether that will be realistically possible without a proper doubling scheme using their current suppliers is unlikely without using powerstages.
TUF is still garbage, it only has 3 audio jacks so even if the codec is ALC1220 (labeled S1200A , suggested 108dB SNR) it probably has a terrible implementation. The ATX one also lacks a type-C USB 3.1 gen 2.
The specs on the Tuf state "Low RDS(on) mosfet" so it's likely the same thing as before but with slightly more mosfets (i.e. instead of 2x low side , 2x for high side too).
While the TUF is garbage compared to what TUF used to be... this might be okay for mATX. Mostly, because most other offerings are rather anaemic and having a decent(ish) heatsink on all MOSFETs alone sets you apart.
These were also not announced anywhere, just the product pages went up. Wonder when they're going to be available and, most importantly, for how much.
