980gtx card problem after a bad flash
I get a 980 gtx ti amp zodiac with a problem of bios.
The people could not sell their card after a failed flash.
I try by nvflash version back and windows to flash this card with the original bios.
My problem is that with the command nvflash --list this card would not appear, I have the message "no nvidia display adapters found".
I followed a tutorial that explained that you had to try several versions of nvflash (some modified for modified bios).
I do not know that version of bios (modified or not), the person used to make his flash missed.
I tried from a computer with a graphic crate integrate into the processor (cpugpu), then I made a new test with a second card (560gtx) on my other location pci.
For this second test nvflash recognize my 560gtx but still not the 980gtx ti.
Being totally limited in my computer knowledge, I do not know what else to do.
Thanks for your help
I'm no expert by any means
But if you have onboard graphic's and a gpu in a pci-e slot
Seems you can identify that pci-e slot
Once you do remove the good gpu and install the bad
Flash that pci-e slot ID
This tutorial has a version most prefer
Here's the other thread
Both locations are recognized with the 560gtx the problem is only for the 980gtx ti.
Not reconu with nflash
Yeah on the second link should of shown the index of the card slot a gpu is in
That is pretty much all there is to go by on a dead gpu.
Try removing all the GPUs, kill the internet (to prevent Windows from loading GFX drivers), uninstall all NVIDIA drivers, reboot, shut down, insert both the GPUs, try to flash it. If this doesn't work, try a fresh install of NVIDIA drivers.
Been bricking my P104-100 like 20 times during the last 48 hours, trying to force flash another card's BIOS into it, and the solution seems to be related to NVIDIA's drivers.
