I like nVidia's development pace... but 500+ MB drivers every other week... jeez.

These updates seem to focus almost exclusively on the RTX cards with marginal improvements for the others so is there any point for the rest of us to update?

2019 is right around the corner. 500MB is nothing

You know the longest/ most annoying parts of installing nVidia's drivers is the time it takes to "check system compatibility" (or whatever it's called), then going into Task Scheduler and turning off the 20 tasks that nVidia creates.

That is why you either use the nvidia slimming tool or just manually remove all that junk before install.
