[NVIDIA] Geforce 417.71 (GSYNC compatible monitor drivers)

Quote:

Includes support for NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics cards as well as support for G-SYNC compatible monitors
Available here:
https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driv...x/141906/en-us

Tested it with my monitor (MPG27CQ, freesync range 48-144hz) and gtx 1070.

Worked without issue in Killing floor 2, dead by daylight, overwatch, cemu.

Also tested using the pendulum demo with gsync box checked (and verified by enabling "test pattern" and toggling gsync/nosync and seeing the tear on nosync and no tear on gsync).

Really happy with this!

A database with user input on "non-compatible" monitors would be nice, with info on flickering, input lag or other issues.

Can't test my AW2518HF until next Saturday :(

If anyone here has the Samsung 27" Curved QLED WQHD Gaming Monitor (CHG70) LC27HG70QQEXXY please advise how you go with these drivers.Hopefully it’s not too bad. Can’t test my monitor until the weekend unfortunately.

Agreed. Testing right now. Fingers crossed, however I fully expect it not to work (Acer XF240H).

I have this exact monitor. It's been extensively reviewed on YouTube as one of the best 240hz monitors out there. I will be eagerly awaiting your results :)

I'll be testing against an AW2518H (with G-Sync) on the same system so I'll be able to compare input lag which is what I'm most worried about. Results will be completely subjective tho :)

Dupe.

Is there word on variable overdrive? Would it be possible to have it on G-sync compatible monitors?

AngryLobster 01-15-2019 03:10 AM

Yes, there is no variable OD support even on the 12 Nvidia certified monitors.

I gave this a go on a LG 32UD59-B and it works flawlessly down to modified 34hz (40-60hz stock).
