[Anandtech] Intel Core i9-9900KFC Processor Listed

Is it April 1st yet? That's what I thought when I saw this title.
If true, it'll be interesting to see what C stands for.

Quote:

The letter causing confusion however, is the C. In the past, Intel used ‘C’ to designate the Broadwell CPUs that had improved integrated graphics. This would fly in the face of the ‘F’ part of the name. However, those C processors also contained a small amount of eDRAM to act as a buffer between the L3 cache and the CPU. In our testing of those processors, it only really gave extra performance to integrated graphics workloads, which is where those Broadwell processors were focused.

Does it come with some fried chicken too?

It comes with gravy, according to the article.
Still not sure if this is come kind of a joke, but who knows.

The temps will run extra crispy.

Brian: "Kyle! How do we call the new CPU?"
Kyle in the next room: "WHAT??"
Brian "HOW DO WE CALL THE CPU?"
Kyle: "I'm eating!"
Brian: "What?"
Kyle: "What?"
Brian: "CPU NAME!"
Kyle: "I'm eating! KFC!"
Brian: "KFC?"
Kyle: "Yeah!"
Brian: "Well ok"
Kyle: "Wait what?"

With over 200W stock under full load it might as well be deep fried. Anything Intel released since Kaby is a mini blast furnace.

Are the fries included or are they extra?
