Choosing the Naos successor

My old Naos 5000 does not like the new aluminum mat I got (Enhance gx-mp6 silver color) and has serious LOD issues, so I'm considering to replace it.
I searched the web and found that the Rival 600 has the best LOD tracking thanks to the second sensor. Shape-wise it is at least right-handed, but it won't be as comfortable as the Naos (or similar mice with that shape).
I'm quite puzzled on what's the best course of action. The Naos has the rubber coating deteriorated on the sides but I dont mind much and for the rest is still working great.

1) Replace my Naos with Rival 600, hoping the shape is comfortable enough (would get from Amazon so I can return it easy).
2) Replace my Naos with Naos QG, hoping this sensor has no LOD issues on my mat.

3) Replace the pad with black version of the mp6 or with a Razer Manticor.
4) Replace the mat with ROG Whetstone. I dont like soft pads but this could work, and also would get from Amanzo for easy return in case I hate it.

5) Something else (I'm open to suggestions). About mousepads, I really like the Enhance for looks and feeling, which matches my new desk setup. About mice, it's clear that I'm totally sold about the shape I'm currently using, which O have for 15 years, from the mx1000 through the Ikari (changed 2 both bad) and finally the naos (also changed 2, but second was a keeper).

Nope, the cable color doesn't match my setup.

Why the hassle?
Which is the reason that made you suggest it in place of the Naos QG? Price?

Naos QG ~106g
DM2 Comfy S ~94g

OK, this is a good point - unless my current mouse is already 130g or more, in which case 106g would be better for me.
I would be more comfortable with a mouse a bit (10-15g) lighter than the 5000 -which I use without weights- and of which I dont remember the weight (and don't have an accurate scale to measure it). The 8200 was 150g which was too much, but I haven't tried it.

Edit: i finally found the weight of the Naos 5000 and it seems to be the same 106g of the QG.

Therefore the Comfy S is a good alternative. While the most important thing is tracking and LOD, 10g less would do good too. The sensor being equal, it's just worse looks (also the DM logo doesn't look as good as Mionix one).

Mionix Naos 5000 without any weights was also ~106g with a bit of cable
Naos 8200 is ~100g without cable , with a bit of cable ~106g , with the whole cable ~150g ;)
Edit:
so the DM2 Comfy S weights ~10g less

Yes, I just found out. I have a friend that does custom cables, he could do mine :)

a custom cable , like e.g. CeeSA's , are always better :) , they're also better then the cables of the newer Finalmouse ( :D ) or the new ones on the DM1 FPS ( Dreammachines Sensei Clone with pmw3389 , they use the same cable Finalmouse is using ) ...
but to be fair these 2 are the best stockcables I know ... '
the DM1 Pro ( S ) ( Pro = 3310 , Pro S = 3360 ) uses the same stiff cable the DM2 Comfy ( S ) uses ( Comfy = 3310 , Comfy S = 3360 ) ...
Edit:
and of course a good custom paracord would be fit on a Naos QG too , the Cables Mionix uses arent also rly good ;)
thats the Problem if you ever used a good paracord cable , all stock cables feels bad :D , the "good" ones too
