What's the longest anyone ever ran Prime95 or Furmark ?

Anyone know any actual time records on these ? I guess researcher's and miner's and stuff run GPU's and CPU's flat-out for years anyways, but just wondering.

I wonder what computers have ran continuously for the longest time's ever ? Probably some factory control computer of some type, or some researcher's computer somewhere.

I wish there was a documentary to watch on this topic

About 14 hours Prime95 Small FFT for me! :D

On a 1055t circa 2009, I ran Prime blend for about 6 days because I forgot about it

Wonder where that chip is now

Ran Prime95 for a few days at least before BOINCing for months at a time

Sort by days:

You'll see someone ran it for 174 days, but that doesn't mean it's not been ran longer.

Furmark at this point is a useless tool for GPU overclocking, good to test thermals briefly but there's no reason to run it for longer than a few minutes anymore.

I once ran for 8-9 days by complete accident during a stability test. An emergency call led to me rushing to the airport and flying a few states away for work. I do not recall which chip it was, but I do remember the office room in my house being hot as hell when I got back.

About 24 hours, which is enough for 15 mins at each of the FFT Sizes it calculates (8k-4096k). Beyond this for stability testing is pointless because you are repeating exactly the same tests and if it passes an FFT the first time, it will pass it again the second run.

For the distributed compute project Prime95 is actually for, people run it non-stop.
