Seasonic PRIME Titanium 1000 - pop sound

Hello,
So since two months now, there is a sound in PC that is driving me crazy and I can't find where it is coming from.
I have a question for all Seasonic Prime owner : when you start your PC or turn it off, does your PSU also make a pop sound / loud click sound ?

It has always did this for me but like I said, since 2 months I hear random pop sounds specially when gaming. It's very random and kinda sound like the sound when I start the PC. I have recorded the sound : https://instaud.io/3cT4

So yeah, does your PSU also make a pop sound when you start or turn off your PC ?

Much appreciated

That's the relay switch.

So the noise when I start and turn off the PC is normal, right ?

Do you think the other noise is related ?

It's not coming from the motherboard, that I'm 100% sure. I have no mechanical drive, the only other thing could be the watercooling.

I have the relay sound clicking on start as well thats normal.

What is the other sound like? Like crickets?

A sound like crickets is probably coil whine which is annoying but not dangerous

Yes, that's what I'm saying. It's the relay switch. It needs to have one, and it clicks on and off.

My PC also clicks when I turn it on/off. I'm not sure whether it is the PSU or the board. But the board has for sure an additional relay that will click every time when windows will log in. I was just wondering because this is the first board (Asus z170 Maximus Hero Alpha) to me which does that.

I don't think it is coil whine. It was fine for a year (I didn't change anything) and the pop noise can be loud (I hear it while ingame with my headphone). It goes like this : *pop* 2 or 3 sec delay *pop* 2 or 3 sec delay *pop

Sometimes it's just one pop, other times it's 2 or 3 pop. Appears way more often while playing, but I also did have this sound while just browing on watching a youtube video for example.
