MLC Phoenix Rad Pump

Just a simple question, can i replace the pump with a better one?

Martin778 06-04-2019 03:21 AM

No, unless with a different DDC. What's wrong with the stock one? There aren't really any better ones?

The stock one is a EK-SPC, with a max flow rate of 250 L/h. i want to put a DDC pump on it.

If i rember correctly from my past EKWB R&D days i think that DDC pump is incompatible with the plastic moulds on the radiator core module because the impeler is different on the SPC and DDC pump. That was the case also on predator XLC that on later revisions DDC pump was incompatible (you can spot the difference that older revisions of predators with ddc pumps had fittings on radiator core).
