asus VE278Q or VS VX2757-MHD

Hi, i have a a low budget gaming pc with a Samsung UN22D5003BF LED TV 60hz. Now i'm buying a 27 monitor with 75-85hz.

My choice is between this two

1- ASUS VE278Q 1920 x 1080 27" 16:9 85hz (but in asus specs say 50-85hz) good sound and 2ms response time. Someone explain, what exactly is the 50-85hz

2- ViewSonic VX2757-MHD 1920 x 1080 75hz (not good sound review) 1ms response time, but amazon choice for the money.

I like the asus but i'm confused in the 50-85hz. I want to improve a little my gaming performance.

Intel i7-6700K
Asus B150M- AD3
MSI GTX 1060 gaming x 6g
Corsair cx 650 psu
16GB RAM

Any advise or suggestion well received.

1080P on a 27 inch will give you a low PPI of 81,59 which is pretty low and quite frankly looks terrible
If you want a 1080P monitor stick with a 24 inch model and if you want a 27 inch step up to 1440P

Hi, I'm going with 144hz Viewsonic VX2458-MHD 24" 1080p 144hz 1ms. How does this budget gaming monitors performs on movies and how this refresh rate works with my GTX 1060 6gb?

Sorry for the lots of questions.

Higher refresh rate means it can show more frames per second but it will have no effect on movies since they are 24 FPS so it does not matter if you have a 60 hz a 144 hz or a 240 hz monitor movies are going to look the same no matter what

Went to best buy checking options before buy the 24 monitor., After talking with the guy about tv vs monitor, he talk about the 32" 1080p 120hz hdtv been good for gaming and movies.

I found the TCL 32S327 32" 1080p 120hz smart LED for $149.00

The other option is the ViewSonic VX2458-MHD monitor 24" 1080p 144hz LCD for $179.99

What is your recommendation between this two.

Thanks

The monitor is the better of the two for PC gaming
However if you are playing on console the TV might be the better option
