lowering windows sensitivity under 6/11

I read there is optimal dpi for certain sensor. I heard best dpi for razer deathadder is 1800 and trying it out it will feels more nimble and not only because higher dpi. Since scaling dpi by software is bad idea. I wonder what about downscalling it, what would happen. To use on mouse 1800 dpi, but in game having effective 800.

for modern sensors there is no difference.

there are many generations of deathadders with different sensors. going above 1600 on the new ones is not advised.

you are sort of already doing this in all the games that you have - by changing in-game sensitivity.

TL;DR pick one dpi in 400-1600 range and stick to it.
