I really looking forward to the next gen Zen. This will only be tidbits, I'm sure. Still it's info about my next system and what I should be looking for to go in it.

the question is, will AMD ever be as over valued as NV? and is NV only over valued as it is due to their AI/Self driving segment? me thinks yes.

Nvidia is in dire need for another hard correction of their stock. I was lucky to buy them cheap and sell them when they were close to their peak. Not sure if we'll ever see an overvalued AMD. They're only just reclaiming their historic highs. Intel may see a correction in Q2-3 2020.

Over valued? It is valued based on performance and demand. If they perform well, they will be valued higher.
Nvidia are the leaders in GPU cards at AI, driving, workstation and desktop. They are valued accordingly.

And AMD is starting "to kill" Intel in the mobile sector:

R7 4800H + Unknown 6GB AMD GPU vs i9-9880H + 2060 laptop

How does that constitute "killing"? It's margin of error territory all around.

If it's priced lower it will be a killer, if they're equally priced then they're just that; equal.

id' totally agree if I would'a gotten in @ $20 a piece too :D

i get it though. I'm just poking fun. It just shows the massive opportunity coming for other entities. This is all still baby tech. Maybe toddler at this point.

what's intel @ these days? $60ish? let's organize a big short :P

if anyone really believes linus when he says he doesn't invest within the industry, they're foolish. Of course HE doesn't do it. It's not coincidence he's gone gangbusters in the same time period AMD n NV have.

Nooooooooooooooo! I just bought a 3700x and a 5700 XT (see new build log in sig). I don't want to hear about a card that may be twice as fast or a CPU that is 17% better in IPC.

It don't matter, AMD will fail to price them right and if you want a semblance of a deal you'll need to wait till Black Friday after they release sometime mid year to early fall.

I figure I will have at least one year, before... Oh, never mind the new consoles will be equal or lesser then my system and that should carry me for another 5 years... as I exit right.
