As the esteemed user Yojimbo said in that comment section, "The human eye probably can barely tell a steady 30 from a steady 60."

What's the point?

One word: Latency.

I say bring it on, give me a 480hz monitor please, OLED panel, and ELMB for good measure (Essentially back-light strobing and VRR combined)....one day, for now one can dream.

Can the human ear even smell latency above 60 FPS?

Nice :D I would probably get this panel in an AOC over an ASUS, assuming it's used by several manufactuers as the current 240hz panels are. Pushing 360fps in most modern games is very hard... they are gonna run into a cpu limitation even with an overclocked 9900K.

visual fluidity Vs. responsiveness = not the same. silly consoles scrubs.

ZealotKi11er 01-06-2020 07:23 AM

120 fps Is 8 ms
240 fps Is 4 ms
360 fps is 2.8 ms

Yes people will notice 1.2 ms difference. Get real.

the demand for 240hz is extremely low. Who even asked for 360hz? The 1 guy running 2 2080ti kingpins in sli?

Its not for enthusiast or gamers. Is for just some people that get sponsored and play Fortnite and csgo.
