Ok, recently I've been having an on/off problem with distorted video. I think it's just windows media videos (WMV) though. Like a lot of the time if I go to some video humor site and watch the vids, they will show up like you applied a posterizing filter on them. Even videos off my HDD do this, and they used to be fine.

I recently formatted (week or two ago)...don't know if I lost something I needed. I tried using the latest winamp and WMP10 to play them, but it still happens. Only program that doesn't do it is iTunes.

I reset my pipelines back to default, I haven't overclocked my card, it still happens. I'm not really sure what it is...help!

Try this..

Go into colour correction in the nv display panel, then choose all channels and all colours. Then click restore defaults and it will go back to normal, where that dropdown box says Desktop put it to all

Go back into color correction.

Where it says all channels change it to Red, click restore defaults, click apply, then do the same for green and blue.

That'll fix it I had the same problem.

Well u said all channels, I wasnt sure if he did them 1 by 1. For me, I had to do them 1 by 1 in order to make it work. But of he's already done that all, then its a codec problem.

I just reset them one by one, didn't help :\\
