In the laptop world, Ryzen 4000 APUs based on Zen 2 has been an overwhelming and unexpected success for AMD to the point where laptop ODMs and OEMs were in short supply of these in mid-2020. Meanwhile, I was looking for a new laptop to upgrade from my Lenovo ThinkPad W520 and also buy myself a couple more years of trucking along with my current desktop build. With a Ryzen 7 4800H in this particular chassis that benchmarks just short of a Ryzen 7 3700X desktop CPU and an RTX 2060 that boosts up to 110W, I've been impressed with this all-purpose machine in only a 4.3 pound package.
