Antec Earthwatts 650W
I got this motherboard December 2011 with a Phenom II X2 560 BE as a cheap urgent replacement for an Athlon 64 3700+ which just failed suddenly one day.
Despite no official support for the piledriver processors, I ordered an FX-3850 from www.scan.co.uk for £150.
It works. Very nicely. It's quite an upgrade
It gets used for all sorts of stuff, but I especially wanted the transcoding performance which is outstanding. This is only occasional so being a bit power hungry when on full bore isn't a big deal. Idle consumption is 100W, fine.
I'll obviously be replacing the motherboard when funds permit.
