What I consider to be a high performance rig. However I am a newby and getting on in years so some of you, I am sure quite rightly, will consider it to be so so. The CPU is water cooled with an old Thermaltake 3 fan radiator built into the case (Kandalf). It is built onto an Asus Maximus IV Extreme-Z mobo with a HD4870 x 2 watercooled (soon to be two in crossfire). I am presently using 24 gigs of Ram at1600mhz (using 16gbs as a Ramdrive) air cooled with a small 3 fan cooler. One 120 gig SSD and several 7200 rpm HDD's of various sizes (some in RAID 0). With the exception of the CPU and SSD all of the items are used. (Very limited budget)I will enter the cost here as I am unable to enter it under "Purchase Info"--$1420USD. Also some of the info uploaded by the System Interrogator is mixed up. For example it shows the idle temp at 60 and the loaded temp at 35. I think I just fried a 2600K. That is why I am here. Hopefully I can get some help so that I don't do it again.

Update: I didn't fry it, not sure what happened.
