Medusa

Medusa was my first gaming rig. Built by myself when i was 17, just after O/Ls. Collected every cent to buy components for it. It took me 6 months to buy everything and complete the build. I modded the casing, even though it was my first time. I won a local case modding championship with it. Out of a number of finalists, my Medusa was the best looking. The price was a Corsair Force GT 120GB.

I used her for 3 years. Three short years that had brought me immense happiness. I had messed up some parts a number of times. But Medusa was all good. Up and kicking until the end.

She died February this year. It was a lightning strike. The motherboard, CPU and the power supply were irrecoverable. That was the saddest day of my life, it still brings tears to my eyes.

I removed all the components from the casing, put them into their boxes, and carefully stored them inside a cupboard. I decided, i will never sell any working component neither would i reuse them. Because Medusa was one of a kind. She can never be replaced.
