This will be a place for all of use who have fallen in love with OCN and have taken OCN love to the next stage that we have implemented the OCN flame logo into our builds and mods. For sure We are not the first ones to use the OCN flame in our builds but would like to make a club that all of us can join under one roof and share experience with making and implementing the OCN flame logo in our builds
How to join:
Print, cut, 3D print, spray on,stick, just use a OCN flame logo in any form in your build and post a picture of the OCN flame logo on your build and the name of your mod, and a link to a build log if you have it bellow and you will be added top the club.
For any one that want's to join and dose not have a logo on the mod at the time, or the logo is under construction, you will be added to the club and given a week's time to post a picture with the intent of making the OCN logo or a sketch up 3D model or in best case the finished thing.
Let me kick things of with my interpretation of the OCN logo use, it is still under constructions but its getting there, it will be a part of my custom water cooling loop an water will flow around the logo on its way back to the radiator. For more details you can see my build log: http://www.overclock.net/t/1536880/build-log-raised-from-the-dead
It is an honor to post and be a part of the OCN 4 Life Club. I added the OCN flame logo to the side of my current build (Dark Side) case mod. I took a Jpeg of the flame logo online and printed it to the scale I needed. I used that copy to make a template that I could use to cut out of 6mm acrylic. After I had it cut, filed and polished I wrapped it in carbon fiber film. Its final resting place is mounted on the side panel; just in front of the 92mm fan. White Led strips were added to the fan in order to backlight the OCN Flame.
The First Few Stages of The OCN Flame:
There are a lot of reason I added the OCN flame logo to my build. Up until about 4 months ago I had been away from the custom PC market for quite sometime. Getting back into case modding, the OCN members welcomed me and have helped out tons when needed. OCN is a great site with awesome members. You can now start to see why I've added a bit of OverClock to my build. This club is a place where we can share our OCN related mods as well as our appreciation for everything this site has done for us.
YEARS ago, I had a custom laser etched flame design made for my Antec 902 side window. AMD logo embedded in flames, with a hidden OCN logo within. Not too many have noticed.
The pics are incredibly old, but the spec list is up-to-date. Oldschool AMD s939 setup, 8GB DDR1, GTX260, M4 SSD, the works. Most badass HTPC a man can have.

I'm glad to see you here Grim!! I'm excited to see what you come up with. Also welcome SwishaMane. I like how you've implemented the flame in your acrylic. I'm glad to see that both of you are joining the club.

Im not sure what link you meant as there are 3 build links bellow, pls tell me what is the correct one, so i can add the correct one to the list.
As we are a newly established club not be so strict at the begging and we will give you two and every one who want's to join and still dose not have the OCN logo on there mod, a weeks time to post a picture with a plan how it will look like, maybe a 3d model in sketch up, or any sort of prof that you are going in the right direction
Think a weeks time is enough to make at least a picture showing the intent of your design

The gluing of the acrylic was successful and the logo water loop is done, have tested it out that it dose not leak. It did get a "crack" but that seems to be from the acetone, and the cracks are on the inside, but think that will not be a problem
This is where it will be mounted at the end
Hooked up the the pump and my home made reservoir
It ended up being quite useful, just need to mount a valve for easy draining
And filled up with water, the pump running and no leaks
Hi.my project is the case mod: old school to new...i was just asking...nothing definite..

Ok no problem, will add you in and when you get back on your feet, post a pic so we can see how your planing to do it. No mater the size is the logo that counts
Well i was thinking..im doing a special smthing for my project(once i can move properly again) and it would look cool to add the ocn logo in it..anybody fancy spiders?
Yes why not..look at some pics in my thread..i did upload a pic of a spider template i made for painting with..judt a quick testrun..came out not to badly..
So either a black spider with a white flame logo or white spider with black logo..if this sounds stupidly cupid.you can have my posts deleted in this thread and ill just do smyhing else instead..

Will it be ok with you guys if i add another logo ontop/into my idea?
Spider>ocn logo>a certain required logo of my liking..
hi..heres the spider..i cut this out of vinyl..by hand..with a blade..no 3d printers or any doo hickys..
Plan is to get a ocn logo 3-4cm in size.put it in the center of this..then my other logo in the center of the ocn logo..
As promised. Pics aren't the best, but this is my finished setup... The acrylic seems really foggy, but thats my tan carpet. The acrylic window is actually, decenlty free of scratches, and pretty clear.
Yeah, she's a little disty and dinged up. Lots of imperfections, but that's what makes her beast. For a PC whos technology goes as far back as late 2005, I'd put her up against anything. LOL. Not many s939s with 8GB of RAM, water cooling setups, (and soon to inherit), GTX 580s...
Push/pull AP-15s on CPU only loop. So temps are amazing. BRAND NEW Corsair PSU, only 4 months old. Rock solid, and sturdy as a tank.
Holes in the top are from the rads old position on top of the case back when I originally bought the case in 2009. Now they house a CMOS reset switch, and my wirelss kb / mouse IR receiver.
Last thing to do I didn't think about til recently, is get that drooping GPU mounted up.
