As much as you can for as little as possible, i'm going to be gaming.

Need a monitor, keyboard (nothing fancy, USB).

Wish List

Win7 (just use this one) and DX 11 is a must.

I posted this in the AMD Build Logs subforum because I wasn't looking for a bad Intel build.

I'd much rather go AM3 and use DDR3.

Some of your links don't work.

That keyboard is too expensive.

I'd much rather have a 7200RPM HD as apposed to 5400RPM HD. I could get a converter and put my WD5000BEVT into this build if I wanted a 5400RPM HD.

Also, the monitor is pretty low end. I'll go over my budget if it means getting a much nicer monitor.

^ I don't need a G11 or a G15. Besides, it's way out of my budget.

Well... $30 is a bit out of budget. If someone could inform me as to the performance levels of the 550, 720 and 250 then i'd better be able to make a decision.

*I've updated the build to a $1,000 budget and with some new components, please review them and comment*

Looks good. Technically you can't use a Win 7 Upgrade since you're not upgrading from anything though. I would look for those threads on OCN where people were selling OEM Windows 7s with USB sticks for $50 or something.

You can do a clean install with the upgrade disk. Just takes a little bit of tweaking.
