Hello OCN, im building a new 'puter. Budget is 1500 dollars.. (Dollards hurr)
I can go a bit over. But not by too much D:
Nothing is bought yet.
The parts consist of..
Intel Core i7 920
XFX GTX 285
6GB DDR3 1333 MHz Memory from Corsair
ASUS P6T
Rosewill 600 WATT PSU (hope its enough D
Cooler Master Hyper N 92MM CPU cooler..
Samasung 22' monitor (1680 by 1050)
WD 750 GB HDD (1TB + hard drives are usually unreliable..)
Sunbeam Transfer Black Steel ATX full tower case..
Windows Vista Home Premium i64
Thats about it.
This is my second core i7 build, other broke due to a heatsink issue.. dont want to talk about it much... 2 dead GTX 295s..
Any tips or suggestions, please tell me!
This is what i came up with quickly using your budget. Please don't kill another system using that rosewill PSU.
thanks for the tips... dang, i'd love to give you both rep.. but.. you dont deserve it mwhahahahaha.
anyway, thanks. Can i get a newegg link for a good one? (WARNING, MY BUDGET IS BENDY)

Also, anything cheaper :S I really dont want to go over 1.6 K... I really need a cheaper PSU.
@ microman I will always improve on my computer. Im waiting for 2GHz DDR3 or something.. I dont like going in small steps.. Its like what i did.. 9800 GT to 2 GTX 295s. That sorta thing.
Here is a quality Silverstone 700 which is 120 before MIR and only 99.99 after. Please for the love of god dude spend a little bit more on the PSU..do it for US!!!! DO IT FOR OCN!!!!!!!!
If you want to cheap out, its better to get a solid PSU and a Phenom II build than a GTX 285/Core i7 and run it off a 60-dollar Rosewill power supply. Seriously, your priorities are wrong, GET A GOOD POWER SUPPLY GET A GOOD POWER SUPPLY GET A GOOD POWER SUPPLY GET A GOOD POWER SUPPLY. There.

Also, can i get a link for that G-Skill memory.
His SS showed 2 GTX 260s, and GTX 260 Core 216 SLI will assrape anything except GTX 285 SLI.
