LOL. My 950 requires 1.568 to be stable enough for a VERIFICATION, much less stable for everyday use. Why replace it?

Are you kidding? 5Ghz isn't gonna run at 1.3 volts you know...

It needs a lot of juice, and yes it's a lot of voltage, but it's a lot of extra power you need too.

Don't RMA, what are you going to tell them anyway?

On my other thread I was told it would only last a month with this voltage. Is it OK for benching?

Using the Rasa. I have 81C on the hottest core under full load and about 75C over the whole CPU.

That is pretty damn hot. Try taking the vcore down a little... Those temps are becoming dangerous.

Max Temp is around 95-98C, so he has "some" head room at least but that is quite hot for these chips lol

Yeah, but 'max temp' doesn't necessarily mean 'max stable temp'. It means it is the absolute limit the CPU can take, and it is not reccomended to operate at those temps. Usually the safe mark is 15-20c below the max, in this case around 75c.

I reckon he should fiddle with his vcore to try and get it going OK at around 1.48v or something.

1.536 with adequete cooling is OK, but at 81C it would be foolish to think that you are 100% safe.
