A little over a week ago I purchased their precision gaming mouse on Amazon after seeing this thread. When I got the mouse it looked and felt great, until I placed it on my QCK+ mousepad(cloth). Something was wrong with the teflon feet. The feet wasn't placed inside the grove properly which pushed it up on the edge and caused a dragging when I used the mouse. It made streaks on my pad too. As a gamer this pretty much renders it unusable.

So I began chatting with Anker over email. This is how the emails went

I just ordered one of your mice from Amazon.com. Everything works great with it, no real issues except for the teflon feet is glides on. They are not truly flat. If you look at one part with the right reflection of light it has a slight protrusion that catches the mouse pad(I attached an image so they could see). I have a soft mousepad so it has a tendency to leave streaks. The dragging is unpleasant and not ideal for any kind of gaming. Is there any way to order new feet that won't have these issues?

Thanks

Dear Zepheros Fossil,

Thank you for writing.

Unfortunately we do not have individual feet for the mice. May I ask if you are able to use the mouse without the pad instead?

I will forward your feedback to our product manager so perhaps they could improve on the feet.

Sincerely,

Sure the mouse could be used without a mousepad, however that isn't ideal. I am a PC gamer and would like to count on this mouse as a backup but not with the way the feet drag. Is there any chance of individual feet replacements going on sale in the future?

Upon further inspection of the feet it looks like it was not glued on exactly in the indented area it needed to be. So the end of one side barely catches the lip which causes it to protrude up.

These emails were exchanged a little over a week ago and I've been in contact with them since. They attached a pre-paid label to send the mouse back in the box it came in, however my mom happened to take all of the empty boxes in the house to her work to toss out. So after a few days of waiting, she brought one back that was nearly identical in size. However, for some reason the shipping weight was still way more than the pre-paid label covered and it was for priority shipping, so it was not cheap.

I don't remember why but I had called their support line about this instead of emailing. The individual I spoke with got it taken care of and later that day I got another email with a pre-paid label to cover 1Ib. It still came out to be more than the pre-paid label was for, so I'm going to ask them out of curiosity how they determine shipping weight. Because there's no way .3Ibs(original pre-paid label they sent) would have been enough to cover 1Ibs 5oz when the clerk weighed the box. I am NOT COMPLAINING at all. The fact they sent me a new mouse without me asking and covered the return shipping was extremely generous of them. I even mentioned in email before hand that I would be happy to cover any remainder when they sent the new pre-paid label, so that was on me.

Most people these days always talk about the bad when it comes to company's and their customer service or products. I'm the kind of person that talks about the good as well. Anker stood out and really wowed me. They sell a very high quality mouse as well. I'm definitely happy with the purchase. The mouse feels very sturdy and is built well. It is comfortable in my hand for extended periods of time. The software works flawlessly. I had no hiccups with setting it up and you don't even need the software running at any point after fine-tuning it for the mouse to register the changes as it has built in memory.

Oh and the free car charger they sent me is awesome too, lol.

Grats Anker, you have a customer for life.

Thanks for sharing it. Heard only 1 or 2 times about Anker and never paid attention to them.
It is indeed a great step with the new mouse. I will keep an eye on Anker in the future because I prefer good service.

Yep that is sometimes a problem particularly if you want purchase harddrives.
I had alot examples in the past for bad and good services. I try to share also good experiences but sometimes you don´t pay attention to a good and long lasting product that works without any problems and forgot it easy.
