Here's the deal. With TAT, running both cores at 100% it shows the temps at 62C and taskmanager shows 100% load on both cores. With OCCT and Prime 95 running on both cores it shows 52C load temps and the taskmanager also states 100% on both cores... Any reason as to why there would be such a difference?<br />

To clear things up a bit, I was using TAT as the temp monitor for all three types of testing...

NP... it's been a week of Mondays.... I needed a good laff!<br />

Perhaps Prime95's mathmatical calculations are more "severe" than OCCT. Clearly I am just taking a shot in the dark.

No no no, prime95 and occt have the same temps, TAT's torture test is the program that has high temps...
