I would get the Corsair H70 and Id go intel.... it would be way faster than what AMD offers right now, however if you can wait for BD do it.

Go with Sandy Bridge but get a P67 board. Sandy bridge is so far beyond AMD due to improvements of architecture and overclocking ability.
There is little need for 2TB of space. (unless you have lots of pronz)
And there is also little need for a 6Gb/s mechanical drive.
AND unless you're doing photoshop or video editing and other things like that, it's best to stick with 4GB 1600MHz.
That's a pretty decent power supply. no worries there.
What will this mainly be used for?

He's using Newegg. And i believe it says he's in New Hampshire, if I'm correct.

I agree. Especially if he wants to use the full potential of his 2500K, then he has to have a P67 board. And, ASUS provides some the best.

I think you should wait for more p67 boards to be released.

They've already been re-released for some time. I wouldnt expect too many to come out soon. Im not sure when they would restock, though.

But, it wouldnt be an extreme difference if its at all noticeable.

Haven't heard that much recently about the Sabertooth.

My personal recommendations. The choice is yours.

Personally I would stick now with AMD. Intel starting to piss me of. In the last two years they have made 4 different sockets, and LGA1156, 1366 probably will be not supported anymore, when the Ivy Bridge will comes out. They're just bunch of idiots for me :/ Stick with AMD, buy top AM3 motherboard, flash it and You'll be able to install Bulldozer on it in the near future.

Nope, bulldozer cpus will not work at 100% on AM3+ (flashed AM3) boards. AM3+ have black socket to distinguish.

Go with the intel setup if you're purchasing the parts now since bulldozer won't be out until June. Intel is undisputed best price/performance rite now
