Alright, so I have had some issues with my 1000he for a number of months now.

My camera is enabled in the bios, but isn't detected by any program (in linux or windows).

Anyone have any suggestions or steps to take?

That's strange.
There shouldn't be any drivers needed...
It should just show up.

& Cheese isn't seeing it in Linux?
Have you checked to see if it was plugged in etc?
Maybe the ribbon cable was unplugged?

It shows up in my device manager in windows.

And no, Cheese didn't see it in linux.
