Hey.

i have my 1055 @ 4017 Mhz atm. but im a bit afraid of the high vcore when i test it out in prime. vcore goes from 1.548 to 1.560 :S

my temps are realy good thou. got a Noctua ND-nh14 and it stays at 46 degrees on max load?

what do you guys say ?

is the vcore too high ?

Is that the minimum stable voltage? It's sort of high for my likings, but I guess as long as you can keep it cool it should be fine.

Whoa, 1.56 VCore is pretty high.

And 46c at load with a NH-D14? I mean that thing is good, but that's really good.... Almost too good, maybe?

i realy dont like it either, ill let prime run for an hour to see if it is somewhat stable then try to drop the vcore abit. and test again.
temps are still at 46.
does the rest of the setup seem kinda right?

it jumped to 1.57 vcore and temps increased to 49~50 now :S

I mean, it's not unheard of for a 1055T to use 1.55 VCore, but I think that's the upper limit of what AMD tells you it can handle. I don't think I'd want to run at 1.546/1.56 as a continuous overclock.

your right its not unheard of and it isnt a good voltage for a 24/7 overclock but as we know theres some bad batchs that lead to high voltages.. see if you can drop the vcore a little or maybe tweak the other voltages a little to see if you can drop your vcore down

without loadline calibration it wont even start up with less then 1.54 on cpu voltage
and it dropped to 1.488 when i started prime and then BSOD.

now i have just under 1.500 at cpu voltage, shows as 1.536 in cpu-z while i run prime.
wich voltages would i have to tweak to get lower vcore ?

thats only a tiny bit higher than I would expect. I maxed at 1.54 at 4073.

its probably getting so high because as temps go up it needs more voltage to operate.

you want LLC on it lets you overclock higher.

try upping the vdda (if its on auto), keep the nb close to stock until your done oc'ing, maybe even try taking out some ram to see if your imc is strained? just things to try I suppose

hmm, how much should i bump the vdda?
took it up to 2.535 from 2.490 (Auto)
the vcore is a tad more stable now havnt gone over 1.536 by now.
