Hey all,

I first got my 1080 ti back in summer of last year. When I would play games and benchmark with heaven etc, I would usually stay around 55-61c.

I've noticed lately that my temps are actually a lot higher now where they are 65+ when running the same applications as before.

Ambient temp has remained the same, the gpu has stayed in the same case etc.

Could the paste be the issue after this time?

could be paste. but before going that route just remove the fans and blow out the heatsinks. ive seen those lovely dust bunnies hiding in spots under the plastic and has actually caused higher temps cause they are just slightly blocking air flow.
Agreed. Start with simplest issue first. Dust is a major cause of heat in computer systems.

Driver and game updates extracting more performance out of the card, different case fan profiles/speeds, different cpu loads (since case fan speeds are usually tied to cpu temp). Different ambient temp, different games/benchs,dust build up. Thermal paste will only give a small amount of temp changes and usually it is with the different types.
