4 GB DDR2 Ram

looking for playback of 1080p mkvs and blurays?

The 4570 shouldn't have any trouble playing 1080p.

Even intel's IGP's (except X3100, and 9XX) can play blu rays.

This laptop should be more than enough.

I forgot to say as well, Im planning on pushing it through a VGA port, thats ok right?

itll push through all 2073600 pixels (1920x1080)

VGA cable itself is capable of pushign even 2560x1532 if the monitor supports it. Not sure about higher resolutions.

But you should see if the GPU supports it...
