I am at a bit of a crossroad here. Now that I have my Corsair 500R case, I am thinking about what my next upgrade should be:

1) I am looking for an affordable 120GB SATA3 SSD which will be used for nothing other then gaming on Windows 7.
2) Or perhaps I should wait a bit longer until SSD's drop in price / hold more data and get a Corsair H100 cooler instead (to try and OC my i7 2600K to 5GHz?)

Especially for gaming, that 120GB may be used up quick!
With the cooler, the overclocking is something I may see more results from in the actual gaming itself... But maybe not as much as I would expect though as it's all GPU driven for the most part anyways?

Suggestions?

Thanks

SSD now.

Rasa kit (not that H100) later.

The SSD will be a noticeable upgrade overall. I don't think an H100 could do a 2600K @ 5, but I've never investigated the all-in-one coolers because they just go against the general idea of liquid cooling, do it yourself or stick to air.

I have 2 Vertex 3 60GBs in RAID 0 and I haven't filled them up with BF3, BC2, Dirt 3, Sims 3, Chief Architect X3, Office 2010, and AoE. At 120GB, the space concern isn't a big issue. Just keep movies and stuff on a second hard drive.

Alrighty then,
Good advice to stick with air. I think that my case was more intended for air anyways, even though it would fit a H100 nicely. It's kind of always in the back of my mind with liquid cooling too... "man that would suck to see that water spill"... not that the self-enclosed H100 would or anything.. unless it was defective... but it's kind of a freaky thought nontheless haha..

I have a Crucial M4 (64GB) and I'm very happy with it but I'm noticing better deals then the M4 when it comes to the 120GB SSD's. And maybe for gaming all I need is a OCZ Vertex 3? Or maybe these drives are just crap? haha
How about the A-DATA 120GB SATA3 SSD? I'm noticing it's quite a bit cheaper then most too.

I will price out those recommendations you gave me.
Thanks!

I'm leaning towards the Vertex 3 as well. Bang for buck it seems like the best. Way better then the Agility that's for sure!
Unless someone can convince me otherwise, I think I'll put my money on the 120GB OCZ Vertex 3?
