You could always go to an electronic store and find an open box 1080p 120 Hz TV that would work just as well.

I would imagine in the nearish future... Just for the soul reason that since LED TVs are coming out LCD 1080P models should drop about in price 5% every 2 quarters or 6 months. I think you're better off finding yourself a cheap 32" LCD TV to hold you over for another year or two before 120Hz LCD monitor demands get higher.

$350 for a 120 Hz LCD monitor in my book seems pretty low to me anyway, since you can buy a 1920x1080 LED monitor at 60Hz (with a bigger screen) for the same price and notice little difference (I only notice a real difference of refresh rates in CRTs).

I'm not a monitor guru but I think it will be at least another year.

Wait, what? Memory Express beats all prices (online) by 5%? Do I have to walk into their Richmond store or can I do that online?

PS. Any idea if Memory Express beat prices on things that are limited time offers online? Or say for example, NewEgg.com instead of NewEgg.ca including currency conversion? (Usually .com gets them cheaper)

Yeah, and TVs are way too big for the viewing distance on a desk anyways. The pixel density on the screen is really poor up close. I would never use a TV for that reason alone. The picture quality on LCD TVs do look amazing but that's when you're watching a movie or show on the couch.

Yeah, Memory Express price beats any local store like NCIX, Bestdirect, Direct Canada, A-Power etc. and also the big box stores like futureshop by 5% of their price if its cheaper, and they also do match online stuff like Newegg.ca. There are some crazy deals to be had, depending on the price of course.

But yes, get the XL2410T, its an exceptionally good monitor, not just for 120hz but for black levels as well. I honestly think its the best TN panel I've ever owned. If you live in Van, look for it on sale locally, and get it from memx. Also there is a zero dead pixel policy you can get as well.
