Here is a section full of fan templates- I was googling and found this, printed off a 120mm fan template for my box and it worked perfectly- I have not tried the 90 or 80 templates but I can assure you the 120mm is perfect. I tested it on a thunderblade and it is great.

I was looking around for templates and came across these ones, they seem to work the best IMO.

To print them out the right way:

Download

Open up in Paint

Print

I tried to do it in Windows Picture and Fax viewer, and it came out larger than it should have been. If you do it in paint, it comes out at the right size.

Just thought I would pass some information along

Oooh! Finally one that follows the actual shape of the fan and is not just a circle (the black line)

I just confirmed that the 120mm template is the real deal- I just cut out a 120mm hole using the template and lined up my thunderblade and it is dead-on- Holes and everything

I will get some up soon, they're part of my log in the Case Mod Work Logs section, entitled "2 heatercore, 4 fan box" or something to that effect...

I followed the circle- Not the black frame line...I think the circle is best IMO.

Just as a point of reference, I cut them templates out of the page prior to taping them on
