in demanding games the 256 meg card will really shine compared to the 128... so it kinda depends on what games your playing and how long you will have this card...if you plan to keep it for more than a year... 256mb, if less than a year, 128 will suffice...

It's not the extra memory that will make such a big difference, it's the models themselves that happen to have 256 mb of video memory. Which models were you comparing, so we can give better info.

Lol, 128 or 256.....

More ram is used for higher resolutions, IE: 1600x1200

if you play at 1024x768 then 128MB is fine.
oh wow the second one. the 6800gt is way better than the 6600gt... go the that... good luck

Go with 6800GT, BTW is that a little overpriced? (I'm Not sure

But the cheaper one has 1000MHz Memory Clock whereas the Leadtek only has 350/500MHz?
Dose anyone know about this? if so dose it matter much or not?

What are you talking about...?

350 core. Ok normal.
500 memory. Ok 500MHz = 1000MHz DDR. 1000MHz is normal.

What, 6800 ultra runs at 430/1100? 350/500 sounds ok for a 6800gt...

yeah. DDR = double data rate

no matter what, get a 256mb card, either its a 6600GT or a 6800GT. Then one future bottleneck has been removed and ur card will be effecive longer.
