I currently have 1680x1050 screen but since i'm getting into youtube,i really want the best for my channel and stetched 16:10 to16:9 isn't working. And honestly, everything is now made for 16:9 screen,i have black bars all over the place(youtube, other video sharing sites). The thing is - with my current resolution and monitor,i have the perfect frames per second that are playable for me.I play mainly BF3 so a minimum of 60fps is a must.I play on medium because of that (no SSAO) - i get min of 60fps and avg ot 70-75fps whenever i bench.I know it's probably not worth it ,but i want it really badly and a new screen isn't that expensive: IPS 24" 1920x1080 costs around 300LV (my currency). How much of a performance decrease i should expect given that my resolution isn't that much smaller than 1080p:
1680 - 1920 - around 200 pixels more
1050 - 1080 - 30 pixels more only
Should i expect,let's say,5FPS lower or..? More,less?
Thx in advance!
