I was wondering anyone know of any good LED monitors for 1920x1200 or higher resolution.

I've been looking at 27" Apple Cinema Display but that is way over priced.

I dont know any x1200 LED ones, but I know a good bit of x1080 LED ones.

Do you need it by x1200 or higher?

No LED's availible in the higher resolutions that I am aware of, but LCD is a different story and I am sure LED's in these monsters will be out soon, but not sure it will improve the display that much

Apple Cinema Display, can't think of any other ones off the top of my head. $1000 is overpriced though.

Why do you want LED? You will get reduced color gamut unless you can find one with RBG LED backlighting and by doing that you mitigate the power saving benefits and it will cost even more than as regular WLED.

ACD 27" is not over priced dude. It's IPS and it's 2560x1440. All other screens as such cost 1000 dollars or so too.

Except everything else goes on sale, I doubt many people picked up their U2711s for $1000.

Also the ACD has basically no feature set, only MiniDP, no USB hub, no connectivity, can't adjust the monitor outside of OS X.
